vision and mission

During the time our family lived and worked in Hong Kong, the ‘ping pong’ era, the US-China diplomacy emerged, giving us all great hope of being able to visit China some day.
After returning to the USA in the 70’s , we found many others who also wanted to visit China. As time went by I started to accumulated a file of others who dreamed of visiting China. Finally after many years of applying for visas, our first group of 24 visas were granted for our visit in November of1977. Within only 2 hours of receiving our confirmation for 24 visas the first group for McIntosh Tours had emerged! The China we saw 29 years ago is ‘light years’ away from the China you will see today, as you embark on your visit to China.
